A Conversation with GT Air Inject
We visited with Air2G2 and spoke with owner and founder of GT Air Inject Glen Black. Glen just finished a 3 week 15 state tour visiting golf courses and sports fields, educating them on the award winning, Air2G2 machine. GT Air Inject was founded three years ago and has seen strong success and penetration in the turf market.
The Air2G2 machine has helped golf course superintendents and sports turf managers supplement their annual or bi annual core cultivation processes. Injecting air and fracturing the soil profile has given turf managers the ability to lower compaction and bulk densities and increase respiration and water infiltration and percolation. Overall, leading to a healthy stand of turfgrass.
In 2014 GT Air Inject worked with the John Sorochan from the University of Tennessee on the impacts the Air2g2 machine has on turfgrass and the soil profile. You can check out the results in this video Getting Some Air.
